Kendall is a former professional dancer with over 20 years of ballet training. She has been a licensed physical therapist since 2001 and is the owner of SF Performing Arts Physical Therapy. She is also the former director of the ODC Healthy Dancers’ Clinic. Additionally, she is an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCSF. She has presented at the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science (IADMS), Harvard University’s Spaulding Rehab Hospital, and at the Performing Arts Medicine Association (PAMA). She is the former Informational Papers chair for the Dance USA Taskforce on Dancers’ Health and an electives instructor in Dance Medicine for the UCSF PT Department. Kendall has had the honor and privilege of treating dancers from most of the major dance companies in San Francisco. Roseann has been training in the GYROTONIC® & GYROKINESIS® methodologies for over 20 years. She is a certified trainer in both the GYROTONIC® & GYROKINESIS® methods as well as a GYROKINESIS® Pre-Trainer. She has taught at San Francisco GYROTONIC®, LINES Ballet BFA at Dominican University, & the LINES Ballet Training and Summer Programs for over a decade. Additionally, Roseann is a dancer, choreographer and movement educator holding her BFA in Dance from the State University of New York at Purchase College. She has performed with Nelly van Bommel’s NØA Dance, Garrett+Moulton Productions, LEVYdance, Bellwether Dance Project and the West Edge Opera to name a few. She also creates her own work with her project Rose Moves and in 2022 was an ODC Pilot Artist, a mentorship program for emerging choreographers. She brings extensive anatomical, energetic and somatic knowledge to her movement research and artistic process. Roseann trusts in the benefits of the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® and looks forward to sharing the experience of freedom, connection and power that inspire this work.

Ariell Gross, PT, DPT, PPSC has over 15 years of dance experience including ballet, modern, jazz, tap, contemporary, and belly dance. Ariell is a Bay Area native, she attended UC Santa Cruz for her undergraduate education, and received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in 2021. Ariell has trained with leading physical therapists from the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) and she is a Certified Pain-Free Performance Specialist (PPSC). She has experience providing physical therapy services to professional, recreational, and adolescent dancers, and prior to becoming a physical therapist, she taught barre and indoor cycling fitness classes. Ariell is proud to offer up-to-date, evidence-based treatment methods while also working in partnership with each patient to create an individualized and successful plan of care. She understands the importance of making movement functional for every individual’s goals, regardless of where they are at in their life.
