Recovery from new or old injury, post-op rehab, strengthening. This is specialized care from a licensed physical therapist and my be covered under "out of network" insurance benefits. Payment is due at the time of service, however it may be reimbursable if you submit it to your insurance.

Kendall is a former professional dancer with over 20 years of ballet training. She has been a licensed physical therapist since 2001 and is the owner of SF Performing Arts Physical Therapy. She is also the former director of the ODC Healthy Dancers’ Clinic. Additionally, she is an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCSF. She has presented at the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science (IADMS), Harvard University’s Spaulding Rehab Hospital, and at the Performing Arts Medicine Association (PAMA). She is the former Informational Papers chair for the Dance USA Taskforce on Dancers’ Health and an electives instructor in Dance Medicine for the UCSF PT Department. Kendall has had the honor and privilege of treating dancers from most of the major dance companies in San Francisco. Ariell Gross, PT, DPT has over 20 years of dance experience including ballet, jazz, tap, modern, contemporary, and belly dance. She graduated with her Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado’s Anschutz Medical Campus in 2021, and actively trains with leading physical therapists from the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT). Ariell is proud to offer up-to-date, evidence-based treatment methods while also working in partnership with each patient to create an individualized and successful plan of care. With her backgrounds in dance, fitness, and food service, she understands the importance of making movement functional for every individual’s goals, regardless of where they are at in their life.

Prior to attending PT school, Ariell was the first Office Manager for SF Performing Arts Physical Therapy, and she is so excited to join the team once again in her new role as a Doctor of Physical Therapy! Keep an eye out for her on the schedule as she plans to begin working alongside Kendall part-time in Summer 2023.
